6. How to Contribute¶

Welcome to cloudFPGA (cF)! You can contribute to cF in a variety of ways. You can report bugs and feature requests using the GitHub Issues of the repsecitve cF repository. You can send patches which add new features to cF or fix bugs in cF. You can also send patches to update cF documentation.

6.1. Reporting Issues¶

When reporting issues on GitHub please include the following (if used):

cFDK version including git hash
Xilinx Vivado tool version
Xilinx Vivado HLS tool version
Output of env

6.2. Contributing Code¶

Please use GitHub Pull Requests (PR) for sending code contributions. When sending code sign your work as described below. Be sure to use the same license for your contributions as the current license of the cF component you are contributing to.

6.2.1. Sign Your Work¶

Please use the Signed-off-by line at the end of your patch which indicates that you accept the Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO) defined by https://developercertificate.org/ reproduced below:
